Breaking down barriers
in Baltimore, MD.
The Community Health Partnership extends and
supports my life's work as a Community Health Worker. It's in Our Hands will improve,
enhance, and give much needed support to collaborative and partnership efforts in
Baltimore that have already begun, but have not been sustained, due to lack of funding
and follow-up from the healthcare system. This program is proof that not only is
public health recognizing that healthcare issues can be solved by people within
the community, but that sanofi-aventis is taking a real innovative and grassroots
approach to change how we all should treat healthcare among minorities.
